United Way's Winter Gear Collection a Success

This year's project for United Way of Northern Ozaukee's Day of Caring included collecting hats, mittens, coats, boots and scarves for the entire month of October. The warm winter wear will be distributed to help keep our families warm this winter season.  Bins were strategically placed in local businesses throughout Northern Ozaukee, and as you can see, the response was overwhelming.

I would like to thank this year's business partners for their donations and assistance with this project.   Thanks to Charter, Dawgs in Motion, Feith Family YMCA, Fredonia Mobil Mart, Harris Bank, Port Washington State Bank, Ozaukee County employees, and Wardrobe Safari.   A big thanks to my knitting friends who made hand made scarves for the collection.
