An Early Start for Fish Day
Buttons still available to purchase for Fish Day main stage, and the carnival opens tonight. Plus, Patch will be part of the early morning 2-Mile Walk.
With a day filled with fried fish and other deliciously unhealthy festival foods coming on Saturday, it's a good thing Port Washington Fish Day also offers a way to get some morning exercise to get those metabolisms going.
Patch will be joining those kicking off the festival with some early morning activity by participating in the 2-Mile Walk. There is also a 2-mile Fun Run, and an 8K Competive Run in the morning.
There's still time to save $1 on the commemorative Fish Day button — which also acts as your ticket to the Main Stage to see Patty Smyth and Scandal. The buttons can be purchased from several area businesses for $2, and will be sold on the grounds Saturday at the Information booth for $3.
The entire music lineup for the fest was announced in early spring. There is also a parade earlier in the day, and a fireworks show at night. Plus, start celebrating early at the carnival, which will be up and running from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, offering $15 wristbands, as well as carnival foods and refreshments.
