Animal CPR Class to Benefit Saukville Firefighters

Firefighters from the Saukville Fire Department will participate an animal CPR class at the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus this March.

A special Pet CPR & First Aid Class is being offered for firefighters from the Saukville Fire Department on Monday, March 25 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus in Saukville.  The shelter is located at 630 W. Dekora Street.

This class will be presented by Dr. Marla Lichtenberger, DVM, DACVECC (Board-certified emergency and critical care specialist for animals) and owner of Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals on Hwy 100 and Beloit Road in Milwaukee.  Instruction will cover CPR, temporary treatment of bleeding, fractures, choking, heat stroke, seizures and discussion about common poisonings and other first aid care.
