Friday is Deadline for State's No-Call List

Time to renew or get added to No-Call list? Sign up on state's website before the weekend deadline. You can enter your home AND mobile phone numbers.

Starting to get annoying phone solicitations? Think your time on the state's No-Call list has expired?

Friday is the deadline for the latest version of the list. Sign up on the state's No-Call website to be added to the list for two years.

If you miss the deadline, no worries. You can sign up here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You'll just have to wait another three months for for your signup to become effective — on the Jan. 1, 2013 version of the list.

The state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection updates the list quarterly, sending it to qualified telemarketers. Charitable donation, political survey and polls are exempt from the list.
