Give Big: Outgoing 'Little' Jemiah Looking for a Pair

Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Ozaukee County has lots of local kids looking for matches — as well as plenty of already successfully paired "bigs" and "littles." This week we meet 9-year-old Jemiah, waiting for her big.

Port Washington-Saukville Patch has teamed up with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Ozaukee County to bring readers information about the people involved in its local program.

Most weeks, this feature will profile a child — or "little" — who is waiting to be matched with an adult role model — or "big." Sometimes, we will feature with an already matched "big" and "little," who want to share the ways the program has enhanced both of their lives.

Things that your future 'big' should know: Jemiah loves to smile and to help others.

Ways a Big Brother or Big Sister can help you: She struggles with writing. If she could get any assistance at all, that would be better for Jemiah.
