Patch to Judge 'Feasting for Felix' Event on Thursday
The fundraiser to benefit the Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus features food from 21 area restaurants, and a number of judges will be selecting winners among the vegetarian dishes.
The Wisconsin Humane Society Ozaukee Campus reminds area residents it's their last call for advanced-purchase tickets for Thursday night's Feasting for Felix fundraiser — which features vegetarian food rated by five area celebrity judges
Patch Local Editor Lyssa Beyer is among the judges who will attend the event in search of the top vegetarian dish. Other judges include Henry Rosoff and Shawn Patrick of Fox6News, Lisa Curtis from the News Graphic and Dan Small from Outdoor Wisconsin.
Advance tickets are $40 for adults, $75 for couples, and $20 for children under 10 years old, according to a press release from the Humane Society. Tickets can be purchased at the shelter at 630 W. Dekora Street in Saukville, or online at www.ozaukeehumane.org. Advance purchases end Wedensday night. At the door, tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for kids.

It has already been wonderful to work with all of these local businesses, as well as our corporate sponsors and beverage providers, all of whom have provided invaluable support of the shelter animals.”
The list of participating restaurants include: Galiotos Twelve 21, Firehouse, Amy’s Candy Kitchen, Tomaso’s Mequon, Milwaukee Ale House, Ferrante’s, Tello’s, Highland House, Out & Out, Riverview Inn Pizza, Fire Ridge Golf Club, The Chancery, Zaffiro’s, The Anvil, Remington’s River Inn, Mila’s European Bakery, Harvey’s Central Grille, Sweetheart Cakes, Cedarburg Bog, The Chocolate Chisel and First Watch Mequon.
Beverages are being donated by the Chiselled Grape Winery, Pabst Brewery and Lakefront Brewery; sponsors include Harris Bank, Charter Steel and the Cedarburg Lions Club.
