Port Piranha Wrestlers Heading to State

The Port Washington Piranha Wrestling team competed in the WWF Regional tournament at Fond du Lac High School over the weekend, and several athletes are moving on to the state tournament in Madison.

This past weekend the Port Washington Piranha Wrestling team competed in the WWF Regional tournament at Fond du Lac High School.

There were 574 athletes competing for a shot at placing in the top two and advancing to the state tournament held March 21 to 22 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. The Piranhas are coached by Todd Schumacher.

State qualifiers from the Port Washington Piranha Wrestling team include:

  • Brianna Schnell — 1st place
  • Keelie Schumacher — 1st Place
  • Lukas Burke — 1st Place
  • Oliver Rosado — 2nd Place
  • Tristan Griswold — 2nd Place
  • DJ Smith — 2nd Place
