Saukville's Pick 'n Save Sold for $6.6M
The company who formerly owned the grocery store sold the property on Dec. 21.
If you ever wondered how much the more than 6-acre property that houses the Saukville Pick 'n Save is worth — it's apparently $6.6 million.
That's the price Capital Equities LLC, a company related to Los Angeles-based Arnel Investment, paid for the Saukville store, 810 E. Green Bay Ave., according to BizJournals.com. The sale took place on Dec. 21; the property had not been listed for sale, but an "'acceptable' offer was proffered by a broker," the article said.
The Pick 'n Save sits in a corner of town where Walmart recently finished renovations including a full grocery store; Piggly Wiggly is also across the street.

They should have been proactive and built on the west side of Saukville where all the residents live! We can still have a bridge shut down issue and folks would have to go to Grafton to shop. With everything on the east side, I'd shop on the west side just to keep away from all the traffic. It's crazy over there by 3pm. I stay away from there as much as possible after that time till about 6:30pm.

I think that's a great idea. They should have built it by the Humane Society. I drive that way about three times a year, about as often as I will step foot in a Pick 'N Save thanks to their overpriced expired, rotting meats, fish & disgusting produce.

The building is merely changing ownership with the sale.

Is it just the land with the store on it? Or did the get some of the land jus past the store? My understanding is there had been a ton of utility work done past the dead end by the store entrance, back when Walmart was considering a brand new store back there...

I love my Piggly Wiggly! Sad that my Guaranty Bank moved from the Pig over to PNS. Now the convenience part is gone. I still "Shop The Pig!" Nicer produce, meat, but have to stay away from the bakery dept........ New Year's resolution.

I agree! I love Pig & the people that work there. Plus I know where everything is so I can eliminate about 1/2 of the aisles. Which means a cheaper shopping trip. Pick n Save is way to expensive and the employee's don't seem very friendly
