Violent Crime in Port Washington, Saukville and Wisconsin

Every year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation uses data reported to it by nearly every law enforcement agency in the country to build a report on crime in the United States. The report includes data on reported crimes from theft to homicide, arrests, trends and how many officers are employed in communities.

In Port Washington and Saukville, rates were comparable to other suburban Milwaukee communities, and relatively low overall. Neither community had a homicide and there were a total of 12 violent crimes (rape, robbery or aggravated assult) between both communities in 2011.
Port Washington's rate was 0.62 violent crimes per 1,000 people. Saukville's was slightly higher at 1.12. Elsewhere in southern Ozaukee County:

- Grafton 0.26
- Mequon 0.43

Good info PATCH!!! Thanks for publishing this article with excellent detailed information. Nice to know where my community fits in with the rest of the state. Sorry to say Saukville does have it's bad neighborhoods, just like every other community in the USA. The larger the community grows --- the higher the crime rate grows.
