Week Ahead: Pandemonium Hits Port High, Plus Healthy Food Options

A look ahead to what you need to know in Port Washington and Saukville this week, which also includes a day dedicated to learning about urban beekeeping.

 

Here are some highlights of the upcoming week in Port Washington and Saukville. There are just the essentials; Port Washington-Saukville Patch has its own events calendar and you are invited to enter your own events.

Let's do lunch!

Join Grand Avenue United Methodist Church for its 38th Annual Salad Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday. Lunch will include a variety of fruit, veggie, meat & pasta salads and desserts and the cost is only $8.

'Pandemonium' at Port High

For the sixth year, the Port Washington High School Music Department presents Pandemonium 2012 at at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Proceeds to benefit Port High School Band Program, Paul Watry Memorial and Scholarship Funds. The program is described as a "unique combination of Blue Man group and Stomp."  Over 80 percent of the music is written by band students and nearly all the instruments are made each year.

Feeling foodie?

The indoor Farmers Market held at First Congregational Church in Port will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, lasting until 1 p.m.The market will sell vegetables, cheese, breads, pastries and baked goods, butter, vegetables, jams, maple syrup, fish, meats and many other locally grown and produced foods; there will also be micro greens demonstration, music and community.
