Which Super Bowl 2013 Ad Was Your Favorite?

Car makers were the primary producer of new ads on Super Bowl XLVII, but who had the best? Vote in our poll and talk about it in the comments.

The Super Bowl long ago stopped being just a football game. Creative advertisements that debut during the broadcast are as much of a draw as the contest itself, and Super Bowl XLVII was no different

This year, Mercedez-Benz generated some controversy with a “teaser” that circulated online featuring model Kate Upton, but the actual ad was far different, featuring Usher, among others. Toyota employed Kaley Cuoco, star of “Big Bang Theory.” Auto makers Audi, Volkswagen and Hyundai also jumped in the fray, along with Pepsi, Allstate and other big names.

Which was your favorite from this year’s game? Vote in our poll or add your own favorite in the comments, or by adding a link.

Beyonce's writhing and grinding performance looked like a pagan fertility goddess ritual. Perhaps the Superdome power outage was a playful tweak from God warning us that He is not to be mocked and those on who He has bestowed his blessings may also receive His wrath for their insolence and concupiscence. I’m glad the dreadful city of San Francisco will not be celebrating tonight.

How insightful and revealingly true too, we agree, those were our thoughts exactly. Her performance could have been replaced by one less sensuous and sexy. Wonder how that performance would have gone over in Islamic countries.

morninmist, no way, her act belongs in a burlesque theatre not on prime time tv. Interesting that so far nobody can come up with what happened after her act during the second half of the game. Think just maybe God had a hand in it, but then again God may not be a part of your vocabulary.

Too many people were talking, so I missed the beginning. I thought it was Paul but my wife said no.
I will have to tell her I was right ;-)

My favorite was the Dodge Ram ad, it triggered an emotional response for my family, not stupid like some of the other ads. And yes, there were several other ads that were very good too.

Paul Harvey can still evoke a tear even though he left us years ago.
Farmers deserved the over due positive recognition.
The baby Clydesdale left me wanting to hug him too.
The half time show was putrefied burlesque invading my home.
I switched to the 'Puppy Bowl', much more entertaining!

I'm pretty sure that it is safe to say that the Go Daddy kissing commercial was by far the worst one. Some of the companies that i thought had the funniest commercials included Taco Bell, Audi, and Doritos. Now in my mind, Audi and Doritos commercials were good, but Taco Bells commercial was great. I mean how can you beat old people parting and going crazy like they're in their 20's?
