Shop Port, Think Local April Tasting Event is Friday, Saturday

We hope you’ve enjoyed the last ten weeks of getting to know the Shop Port, Think Local businesses a little better. Now we’d like to invite you to get up close
and personal with the businesses at Sentry.
Shop Port, Think Local will be holding an April Tasting event this Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stop in and enjoy samples from our Shop Port, Think Local partners.
This will be the third tasting event for the group. Enjoy samples from Beanie’s Mexican Restaurant, Fireworks Popcorn, New Port Shores, the Pasta Shoppe, Sanfilippo’s Sentry, Sweetheart Cakes, Vines to Cellar, and Wardrobe Safari. Our friends at the Port Washington-Saukville Patch will also be here Friday to hand out information regarding their site and offer you a chance to win a Shop Port, Think Local gift basket. Unfortunately, our friends at Diamond Finish and Taste of Africa will not be able to make it, but come support the rest of the group.
The tasting events have been extremely popular in the past. It was hard to find a place to stand in the tent during the last two events. Customers have commented that they are grateful for the opportunity to sample products from many local businesses in one location. The products that are sampled at the events are available for sale at all times at Sanfilippo’s Sentry. All products are sold for the same prices that they are sold at the respective businesses of their origin.
During this event, we’re going to break up our tent set up and place everyone in front of the area where you can normally buy that product in the store. For example, you’ll find the Pasta Shoppe next to the frozen case where the Pasta Shoppe pizzas are normally sold. You can also pick up a Shop Port, Think Local
map at the Sanfilippo’s Sentry table near the front doors. On the map you’ll find a map of the store with the locations of each Shop Port, Think Local product that is carried at the store.
