On Saturday, August 25th, Markel American Insurance Company (a specialty powersports insurance company) will be sponsoring one of their own associates (Tom Conroy, Managing Director – Marine) and two of his motorcycle riding friends as they compete in the annual Chix 4 a Cause Motorcycle Charity Race.  The 2-hour race will be SuperMoto style and will showcase motocross bikes (which will have road race style wheels, tires and brakes) topping speeds of 100 MPH, jumping over various obstacles and riding in the dirt around various sections of the track. 

Proceeds of the event will benefit Chix 4 a Cause, a non-profit organization who not only helps people who are battling cancer, but also their families when the times get tough.

The event will be this Saturday, August 25^th at Washington County Fair Park in West Bend.  Gates open at 10 AM, practice laps began at 12:00 PM, and the race runs from 2 to 4 PM.  PLUS, there will be live music after the race. Admission is only $5.
