Jackie Oleson, President of the Port Washington Historical Society, is the featured speaker at the Port Washington Women's Club Meeting on Monday, September 10th. She will discuss the purchase, history and rehabilitation of the 1852 Barnum Blake Building and the 1907 Business Men's Club.

This is an exciting time for the PW Historical Society. The Blake building will house the Society office, Board of Directors' area, archival center and a resource center. The dream of providing a local history museum came to fruition with the anonymous donation of funds to purchase the Business Men's Club. Both buildings will contribute to downtown viability and will be an attraction for visitors and residents.

The Women's Club meets at the Fellowship Hall at Friedens Evangelical Church, 454 N. Milwaukee St.

A social hour begins at 11 a.m. followed by lunch, a business meeting and a program. For further information, please contact Bonnie Knaub 262-284-9561.
