500 Volunteers Help Clean County Beaches

The Volunteer Center of Ozaukee County organizes the annual cleanup in conjunction with National Coastal clean-up day.

Five hundred volunteers came together as teams to help cleanup Ozaukee County beaches as part of a national clean-up day.

The teams consisted of school groups, businesses, faith-based organizations and even a bachelor party.

"It was a great way for everyone in the community to join our Ozaukee Green Team and volunteer in our community," a press release from the Volunteer Center of Ozaukee County said. "We would like to thank all of the wonderful volunteers who made the Adopt-A-Beach a success."
