Bring Home a Real Black Cat this Halloween Season

There are many kittens available for adoption at the Ozaukee County Humane Society, including a black kitten named Fifi.

The Ozaukee County Humane Society-Saukville Campus has plenty of pets that are looking for a home. Available pets are showcased on the society's website, and Patch will feature the critters every week.

This week features Fifi, a 2-month-old domestic long-haired kitten that has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.

I can't wait to take a trip the Ozaukee human society; certainly hope there more cats as adorable as Fifi. However, I pray they don't play the same music.

Maybe this is just urban myth, but I had always heard that humane societies would refuse to adopt out black cats near Halloween for fear somebody would take one for some sick satanic ritual.
