New Year's Eve Surprise: Man Pops the Question as Fireworks Fly
Fireworks display provides perfect cover for surprise engagement.
Joe D'Acquisto put great thought into his engagement plans. He and now fiance, Jes Sarnow were surrounded by friends and family on New Year's Eve when they went to see the fireworks in downtown Port Washington.
The Grafton couple, who have been dating a little more than two years, snuggled close as they watched the fireworks fly. Just before the grand finale across the inlet, a sign ignited that read: "Jes Will You Marry Me?"
As Jes realized what the sign read, Joe quickly got down on one knee and showed Jes the ring. She screamed "Yes! Of course!"
