Flu Vaccines Available in October Across Ozaukee County

Vaccine is available at a number of clinics throughout the county, and walk‐ins are welcome at department's office anytime

Editor's note: The following information is taken from a press release provided by the Ozaukee County Health Department.

The Ozaukee County Public Health Department has influenza vaccine available for client’s age 6 months of age and older.

The Health Department accepts Medicaid, Medicare Part B and some Medicare Advantage Plans. We will need to see the client’s Medicare card or Advantage Plan insurance card. The cost of the flu vaccine is $28.

Also available for age 65+ is High‐Dose Influenza vaccine, which is specifically formulated for people age 65 and older who are at greater risk of flu‐related complications. The cost of the High‐Dose vaccine is $40.

Vaccine is available at a number of clinics throughout the county, and walk‐ins are welcome at department's office anytime Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m and 4 p.m. If you have any questions please call 262-284‐8170. More information can be found on the department's website.
