Help Clean Up Port Beaches on Saturday
Individuals, groups and businesses adopt a beach to help clean up and monitor the shoreline.

Volunteer Center, Alliance for the Great Lakes and Barefoot Wine are hosting a
public Adopt-a-Beach cleanup on Ozaukee County beaches on Saturday.
Individuals, groups and businesses adopt a beach to help clean up and monitor the shoreline. The cleanup lasts from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, but those wishing to adopt a beach can perform a cleanup that day, or the week before or after.

Following the cleanup, volunteer’s ages 21 and older are invited to attend a celebration featuring Barefoot Wine and surf-inspired fare, Reggae at in Port Washington. The celebration lasts from 1 to 5 p.m.

The event is a partnership between Volunteer Center, Barefoot Wine and the Alliance’s Adopt-a-Beach Program to help clean up Great Lakes beaches and offer a special celebration to recognize volunteers’ efforts. This cleanup is part of a series of events this summer with Barefoot Wine and the Alliance for the Great Lakes.
