PHOTOS: Maritime Heritage Festival Continues all Weekend
The Maritime Heritage Festival continues on Saturday and Sunday with tall ships, cardboard boat races, food vendors, music, historical presentations and more.
Maritime Heritage Festival kicked off on Friday morning as tall ships, vendors and tents filled the area.
"Maritime Heritage Festival is an award-winning event featuring two majestic tall ships, an Artisan's Marketplace, educational and historic activities and displays, two music stages, harbor tours, children's activities, food/beverage court, fireworks and a cardboard boat regatta," according to the festival's website.
The festival lasts until 9 p.m. Friday, and continues from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, with fireworks on Saturday night.

While last year featured the event's first Carboard Boat Regatta — it's coming back this year on Saturday. Plus, Sunday will feature a build-it-that-day cardboard boat race, as well. Both races start at 2 p.m. in the Port Washington harbor.
