Still Own a VCR? It's Your Lucky Day

The Oscar Grady library is trying to make some room for more DVDs — find out how.

While checking out movies at the library has never cost money, usually the item comes with a due date.

Not this time, as the Oscar Grady Library in Saukville is giving away its VHS collection so it can expand its DVD selection.

"To make room for more current, updated DVDs, the Oscar Grady Public Library will be giving away our entire VHS collection free of charge on a first come, first served basis," according to the village's newsletter.

Movies will be on display Feb. 5 to 7 during regular library hours, the newsletter said, and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

"Bring a friend and take home as many as you can carry!" the newsletter said.
