Summer Reading Pays Off

W. J. Niederkorn Library kicked off the warm season with its Summer Reading Program for kids, which includes raffles for all ages.

hosted its kick off celebration for the Summer Reading Program June 14.Β  More than 500 participants signed up and were divided into three age categories: kindergarten through 12-year-olds, 12-year-olds through high school and adult. Promoting reading through a reward system, participants log hours and books to receive chances to enter various raffles.Β  The program runs through August 12th.
