VIDEO: Meet Cooper, Not a Dog That Wants to be Cooped Up

The Wisconsin Humane Society-Ozaukee Campus is celebrating it's one-year anniversary since it opened it's new building in Saukville. In honor of the birthday, adopters over the weekend will get a free gift.

The Wisconsin Humane Society-Ozaukee Campus has plenty of pets that are looking for a home. Available pets are showcased on the society's website, and Patch will feature the critters every week.

This week features Cooper, a 2-1/2-year-old male Hound Mix.

The society in Saukville is also celebrating their first anniversary this weekend. on March 26, 2011, and in recognition of that special day all adopters will receive free gifts on Saturday and Sunday.

The WHS Ozaukee Campus has already doubled adoptions in the new facility since its opening, according to a press release from Director of Development & Community Relations Angela Speed. The society has also hosted thousands of children in programming since its opening.
