Great Escape: A Wearable Art Show Weekend to Benefit the Girls

Shop and go for a good cause at this fundraiser hosted by Cedarburg Junior Woman's Club.

This week’s Great Escape is grounded in reality. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “not counting some skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States.”

This Friday and Saturday, the Cedarburg Junior Woman’s Club hosts its 14th annual Wearable Art Show Weekend, benefitting the education, prevention, research and treatment of breast cancer. Whether you or a loved one is a survivor, or you simply would like to show support, the events of this weekend are a great way to come together in the name of women’s health.
