Harry Potter Fans Fill 5 Theaters in Saukville
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premieres for five sold out showings at the Marcus Theater in Saukville.
The seventh and final Harry Potter movie, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2," opened at midnight Friday morning with five sold out shows at the Marcus Theater in Saukville.
Emily Jakobiak and friends got in line at 8:45 p.m. There were sections provided so all movie goers could find the correct start time and theater for their tickets. There was also a small canopy provided in case of bad weather, but the night sky was clear.
"I loved the ending of the book, I cannot wait to see how it goes in the movie," Potter fan Callie Counsellor said.

The Harry Potter books and movies have become one of the biggest franchises in the world. While some fans have made going to the midnight showing a tradition, Megan Jablonski waited for the last chance.
"Even though I went to all of the openings for the books, this is my first midnight showing of one of the movies," she said.

While many donned jeans and hoodie sweatshirts on the crisp summer night, some chose to use the occasion to dress up Potter-style, such as Kyra Beckman and Sarah Adashek.
"Dressing up is the best part," Beckman said. "I love any excuse to dress up."
