Port Harbor Family Fest Kicks Off Friday

The festival that was planned in place of Port Washington Pirate Festival will run Friday and Saturday. Learn more about the event.

While the streets of Port Washington will not be filled with costumed pirates, a festival planned in its place promises a long list of family-friendly to-do's.

Mayor Tom Mlada has described Port Harbor Family Fest as a "a two-day adventure with family activities, multi-genre music stage, roaming performers ... and much, much more."

The Grafton Blues Association is organizing the event. Here is the schedule as listed on the association's website:

Friday: 

  • 5 to 9 p.m: inflatables
  • 5 p.m. — Alex Wilson
  • 7:30 p.m. — Eliminator - a tribute to ZZ top
  • 9 p.m. — Adult scavenger hut, get cards in the beverage ticket area
Saturday:
MAIN STAGE
  • Noon - Spoiled Rotten
  • 1:30 - Bounding Main
  • 3:00 - Water Street Hot Shots
  • 4:30 - Broken
  • 5:30 - Bounding Main
  • 6:30 - Katz Sass
  • 8:00 - Tim Castle & Young Southern

OTHER ATTRACTIONS
  • Marina open for visitor's
  • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Arts & Crafts Show at the Blue Heron
  • 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Farmers Market
  • Noon to 8 p.m. — Inflatables 
  • 2, 4 & 6 — Friendly Fire on Main Street
  • 1:00, 2:30, 3:30 — BMX Stunts on Main Street
  • 2 to 6 p.m. — Karaoke on Rotary Park 
  • 2:15 p.m. — Little Caesars Pizza eating contest (sign up online)
  • 4 p.m. — Scavenger hunt cards due to beverage ticket area 
  • 6 p.m. — winners announced for scavenger hunt
