Sea Serpents Exposed During Saukville Event

More than two dozen lakes in Wisconsin have been reported as being inhabited by "large, serpent-like beings," according to Author Chad Lewis — who will explore these reports during an event at the Oscar Grady Library in Saukville.

The event is based on his book, "The Wisconsin Road Guide to Mysterious Creatures," and will explore newspaper clippings, drawings and photos that showcase where these serpents were spotted and where many think they still are, according to a press release from Lewis.

A few highlights to be covered include: 

• The Devil’s Lake Monster;
• A $50,000 reward for the Lake Pepin beast;
• The deadly Red Cedar Lake Creature;
• Why people are afraid to swim in Madison.

Lewis has been traveling the world looking for mysterious creatures and other unknowns for two decades, and has written more than 15 books on the supernatural. Find more on his website.
