Local Businesses Bust Out Black Friday Specials

While shoppers will be lining up for deals at odd and early hours all throughout Thursday night and into Friday morning, Port Washington Main Street Executive Director Sara Grover said the Black Friday crowd likely won't hit the city until later in the day.

Shoppers generally hit the malls and the big box stores early, and retail stores and restaurants in Port Washington tend to pick up at dinner time, Grover said.

While Black Friday is not as big a deal in Port and Saukville as it is elsewhere, some local businesses will be offering deals and longer hours. Here's the lowdown:

• is kicking off the shop's one year anniversary party on Black Friday, full of daily and hourly specials, treats and fun. The store will be posting the daily and hourly specials on Facebook and it's website. The big specials for Black Friday are a surprise until then.
• will be running specials, also a surprise until the big day.
• will be offering 20 to 50 percent off it's merchandise storewide, though exclusions will apply to certain brands.
• of Saukville will actually be opening early, at 8 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. The store is offering 25 percent off it's already discounted merchandise. Plus, if you buy two sale items you get the third one free.
• is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and will have floor model clearance items and special prices on TVs.
• of Saukville has a special on it's Robertson brand wine at $7.49 each bottle, with three choices: rose, white and a red. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• will extend it's Friday night hours until 8 p.m., and will have a surprise item in the store discounted at 40 percent off.
• has dozens of items discounted for Black Friday. The ad is available online or at the store.
•  will extend it's hours, open from noon until 9 p.m. If you buy two bottles of wine, you will recieve half-off Mia Bella candles.
•  will offer 25 percent discount on wine accesories with the purchase of a bottle of wine. Also get 15 percent off when you buy five or more cigars, and get 25 percent off a jewerly item with the purchase of a necklace.
• The Portico Gift Shop will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offer 30 percent off the entire store with some specials up to 60 percent off.
• will be closed on Black Friday.

Grover said she's hopeful the following day will be a big hit in Port, and that shoppers will again .
