Now Open: Broadway Popcorn Gets Warm Welcome
The new business is located on the corner of Port Washington's downtown in the former Brewmeister's Trading Post space.
The newest kernel to pop up in Port Washington's downtown is officially open and business owners say the popcorn shop has gotten a "warm welcome."
Broadway Popcorn, a gourmet popcorn company with one retail location already in Sheboygan Falls, opened on Thursday.
"We've just had such a warm response and we are so happy to be here as well — so it's mutual," Manager Therese Suttner said. Customers to the store, 322 N. Franklin St., so far have commented on how beautiful the store is and how excited they are to have such local access to the gourmet snack.

The store features many unique flavors, but customers so far have been "excited" by the Cherry Chcolate Cheesecake flavor and "intrigued" by the Pickle Pop flavor, Suttner said.
The store offers samples to patrons, and is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
