Port Chamber Announces 2011 Award Winners

Port Washington Charter Fishing Captains Association named business of the year, while school Supt. Michael Weber is outstanding citizen of the year; awards dinner is next week.

The Port Washington Chamber of Commerce recently announced winners for its 2011 Awards Banquet.

A banquet will be held starting at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 16, with dinner at 6:30 p.m., at the Memories Ballroom in the award winners' honor. The cost is $30, and people can contact the chamber at 262-284-0900 for reservations.

  • City Beautification Award: and the
  • Business of the Year Award: The Port Washington Charter Fishing Captains Association
  • Special Recognition Award will be given to Schmit Brothers auto dealership for their "continued success and dedication to their industry and community," according to the chamber's newsletter.
