SCORE Workshop Teaches Marketing Tips

The SCORE Southeast Wisconsin Chapter will conduct a business workshop, titled "Marketing 101:Creating an Actionable Marketing Plan" on Tuesday evening, 6 to 8:30 p.m., March 26.

The SCORE Southeast Wisconsin Chapter will conduct a business workshop, titled “Marketing 101:Creating an Actionable Marketing Plan” on Tuesday evening, 6 to 8:30 p.m., March 26.

Accordingto Albert Lo, SCORE education team leader, the workshop details how to look at a business from a broadmarketing perspective leading to sound decisions regarding the spending of advertising and promotiondollars. Techniques for sales data analysis and marketing budgeting will also be discussed.

Session leader Jim Means is a semi-retired former small business owner, and a veteran marketing, sales,wholesale distribution and general management executive for several Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Means has been a SCORE counselor since 2004.

The workshop will be held at the Port Washington Police Department Community Room, 365North Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, WI 53074. The fee is $35 per person, and $20 for eachadditional person from the same firm.
