Tasting Event Raises $810 to Benefit Cancer Group

One Book, One Community: A Taste of Giving Back featured samples from local businesses and plenty of raffle prizes.

A fundraising event on Saturday raised $810 to benefit This Star Won't Go Out (TSWGO), an organization that helps families who have teens or children diagnosed with cancer.

A Taste of Giving Back — sponsored by the Port Washington-Saukville Patch, W.J. Niederkorn and Oscar Grady libraries as part of the annual One Book, One Community program — was .

The event featured samples from local businesses as well as raffle prizes, valued all the way up $155.
