Victor's Pier Street Shanty Opens for Fish Day
The restaurant is not yet officially serving during regular hours, but did open its doors for the annual festival.
Victor's Pier Street Shanty offered a select menu during Port Fish Day on Saturday, despite the restaurant not yet being open.
Owner Victor Cerda said he had hoped to be open for the event, but now he's focused on just opening the doors to the public as soon as possible.
"We wanted to open up tomorrow," he said, adding that he's had difficulty booking bands for the outdoor patio.
The restaurant served a limited menu of sandwiches, brats and appetizers on Saturday, and Cerda said the restaurant's official menu will be similar to that but that it's still being developed.
