Cardboard Boat Race Meeting - June 22, 2013

It is that time of year to start thinking about building a Cardboard boat, climb into it and  then racing it against other brave boat builders.  The 3rd annual Port Washington Cardboard Boat Race is fast approaching. As in last year there will be 2 events. Saturday Aug 24th will be the build it in advance race and Sunday Aug 25th will be the build it that day event.
An informational meeting will be held this Saturday June 22nd at 1 PM at the Port Washington Yacht Club. Located next to the band shell. This meeting will discuss the rules of the event as well as boat building insights.  The meeting should last approx 1 hour with plenty of time for questions and answers from those that have raced and built boats before.
