TRUE FRIENDSHIP
Many of the blogs have been on the negetive side resently. I am just attempting to bring a bit of happiness into the readers day. Print it or not the choice is yours.
A friend asked me the other day what I thought a true friend was. I showed her the back of a greeting card that I had from CROSSING that sums up my idea of a true friend. With the current state of affairs in all our local neighborhoods I thought I'd share it with all THE PATCH readers.
"True friends are the people you can call on and know that they will be there for you. They're the ones you can confide in, depend on, and reach out to when you need someone to listen and understand. Did you know that Jesus calls you His friend? He does! When He uses the word "friend," He wants you to know that you can call on Him and He will be there. You can share your innermost thoughts with Him. You can depend on Him and trust Him, because He is your Friend now and forever."

If this helps just one fellow reader, I will be thankful. I always try to be a true friend to everyone I know and everyone I meet. It's a good motto to live by.
