1,400 Port Customers Experiencing Power Outages

We Energies officials expect momentary outages to be fixed by 9 p.m.

About 1,400 customers may be experiencing momentary power outages as We Energies field staff work to fix the problem.

We Energies officials said they do not know the exact cause of the outages at this time, but did say that the loss in power is only momentary and nobody is going without power for an extended period of time.

The first call for the power outages came in at about 7:10 p.m., and field workers expect to have power up and running smoothly by 9 p.m.
