$500 Charter Fishing Trip Up For Grabs in Patch Father's Day Contest

Whether it has been how to play a great joke on your mom, how to fix your bike tire or to throw the perfect pitch, your dad has been there for it all. In fact, some of the best life lessons we've learned have been from our father's and this Father's Day, we want to hear all about those lessons. 

Upload a photo of your dad here on the Patch Father's Day Contest page and tell us what big life lesson he taught you. Whether it be something funny, serious or just plain awesome, your story has a shot at winning your dad a five-hour charter fishing trip. It doesn't have to be long...even one sentence will do the trick.

The top winner will receive a five-hour charter fishing trip for up to five people from Duluth Trading Company and the Charter Captain's Association of Port Washington. The top two runners up will receive prize baskets from Sentry. 

Just upload a photo of your dad, or other father figure in your life – grandpa, foster father, father-in-law – and tell us in the caption of the photo why the dad in your life rocks. Be sure to tell us what community you and your dad live in, too.

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
• To enter, upload a photo and tell us why you love your dad in the caption. 
• All entries must be received by 9 p.m., June 9 Central time.
• You may enter once.
• One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive the prize package described above, with an approximate retail value of $500. The top three runners-up will receive Sentry prize baskets valued at $25.
