Button Down the Hatches, It's Windy Out There!

Wind advisory in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Port Washington and the rest of Ozaukee County.

The advisory will be in effect until 6 p.m. Sunday.

The weather service says strong gusty north to northeast winds will reach speeds of 20 mph to 35 mph, with gusts of up to 45 mph.

Winds will be the strongest this morning and should taper off in the late afternoon.
