Week Ahead: Poker Tournament Benefits Area Olympic Hopeful

Saukville poker game benefits Olympic hopeful
A  will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday to benefit skeleton athlete Lauri Bausch of Fredonia — who is currently ranked fifth in the Nation and 45th in the World. A detailed story, including an interview with Bausch, will appear on Patch this week.

School Board special meeting
The Port Washington-Saukville School Board meets at 6 p.m. Monday night for the annual joint strategic thinking/planning session for the 2011-12 school year. The meeting is held in the Conference Room, 100 W. Monroe St., Port Washington.

Common Council meeting moved to Wednesday
The Port Washington Common Council regularly meets the first and third Tuesday of every month, but this week will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday due to scheduling conflicts on Tuesday. The council is set to offered in Port Washington, among other items on the agenda.

United Way kicks off campaign season
United Way of Northern Ozaukee is hosting kicking off its campaign. The event will be held at 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 's community room.
