Community Corner
Earth Day Work and Learn
Join the Riveredge staff for the eleventh annual Earth Day Work and Learn in activities that promote the health of our community and planet. Prepare the beds and plant cool weather crops in the organic garden, work as a Habitat Healer and conduct grounds clean-up and invasive species eradication, spruce up our trails by trimming and chipping them, or split and stack wood for our maple sugarin’ programs. Some indoor activities are also planned. A spaghetti lunch will be served at noon. After the work is done, join Senior Naturalist, Mandie Zopp, for a presentation on bats and the bat monitoring project. There are opportunities for groups, families and individuals of all ages to get involved. Call 262-375-2715 for more details.
