Open Studio

Brian Carlson, artist and educator, welcomes you to visit his studio in Port Washington, this Friday night, from 6pm until 10pm and all day Saturday, Dec. 1st from 10am until 10pm. Brian will have a large cross section of work he has done for many years, from large scale Renaissance based images, to nude figurative paintings and drawings, horse paintings, abstract paintings, collages and mandalas, prints and small three dimensional work in box
formats. Additionally, you will see a section of his huge memorial work, Aparecidos, a painting installation for the thirty thousand victims of Argentinian state terrorism. The event is being staged, in part, to sell works in order to help fund this current project. All are welcome.
The studio is on second floor off Pier Street. If nudity in art would be
objectionable to any in your party, please take that into consideration.
Prices will be very reasonable relative to normal gallery prices for Mr. Carlson's work and the size range is from near wall size to small prints, boxes and drawings.
Live music, conversation, ... an interesting time promised.
