Jaycees Free Electronics Recycling Collection

The Port Washington-Saukville Jaycees are teaming up with 5R Processors, Ltd. of Ladysmith to help Port Washington and the surrounding communities properly dispose of their household electronics at no cost. 5R Processors will be set up in the Shopko Express parking lot at 101 N Wisconsin Street in Port Washington on Saturday, June 30th from 10:00am to 2:00pm where they will be accepting any old or obsolete electronics. The collection is open to the general public. 5R Processors is R2 and ISO 14001 certified.

5R Processors will be accepting most consumer electronics and home office equipment including: computers, monitors, laptops, printers, TVs, stereo equipment, cell phones, microwaves, large household appliances, and more. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers will be accepted for $25 per appliance. Projection TVs: $45; wood console TVs: $25; and large wood speakers: $10 per pair. Cathode-ray tubes and TVs/monitors with broken glass will be accepted for $10. Additionally, Department of Defense approved hard drive cleansing services will be available for just $10. Secure hard drive cleansing is performed at the main 5R Processors facility and drives will not be returned.
