The Dirty Knots - Ozaukee Rock and Blues Band

The Dirty Knots are an awesome trio covering rock and blues from Tom Petty to Violent Femmes to the Ramones. Throwing in some originals from their debut album “Beneath the White Pickett Fences” — which I have and it is definitely worth buying.

These three guys are full of energy and great talent. The band formed a couple of years ago and have completed their debut album. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting them and they are really down to earth, cool guys. Jeff plays guitar, harmonica and sings; Tommy plays bass and Jared is on drums. And I have to say, these guys made me sway with the music at their last show.

Playing in local bars and at festivals around Ozaukee County, you have to make time to see them. They have some upcoming shows, July 28 at Knucklehead Pug and Grub in Eagle and Aug. 10 for the Summer Sounds Concert in Cedarburg. Check out their Facebook page.
