Summer Festival Fun Has Begun!
Summer Festivals are here again in Ozaukee Co. Come out this weekend and catch some good food and music at both the Port Harbor Family Fest
This weekend the festival season begins in Ozaukee Co. Live music, good food, and family fun.
Grafton Blues Association has the Port Harbor Family Fest, Port Washington, going on Friday June 7th starting at 5p and Saturday June 8th at noon. There will be activities for kids and adults including eating contests, karaoke, BMX stunt teams, scavenger hunt and more. Of course there will be food from restaurants in the area and live music both days, country, rock, blues and acapella. There is definitely something for everyone. I personally will be volunteering some of my time at the festival and am looking forward to enjoying some of the great music like Katz Sass and Alex Wilson.
At the same time the Lions Club is having the 49th Annual Lion Fest in Theinsville, Friday June 7th at 5p, Saturday June 8th at noon and Sunday June 9th at noon. Again there is music, food and family fun. You can join in on bingo, men’s softball and carnival rides. There is a chicken dinner all three days, cash raffels and a car show. I am planning to make it this weekend and am looking forward to the Toys on Saturday night. Hope you can come down and support the Lion’s Club and it’s charities.
