Muskego Country Christmas A Great Opportunity for Community

It was particularly fun to see all the churches that participated - bring the core message of Christmas to the forefront. Event organizers estimated 3000 in attendance.

Country Christmas turned out to be another great event for Muskego!

This was a fantastic way to break in the newly paved Pioneer Drive with people lining the sidewalks.  Santa and three Reindeer were present, a few elves, and a number of local businesses and community organizations.  It was particularly fun to see all the churches that participated - bring the core message of Christmas to the forefront.  Event organizers estimated 3000 in attendance.

Lakepoint's participation brought a trailer bed of carolers, kids to fill the chamber's train ride, magnets/kid's tattoos for the parade goers, and more than a dozen volunteers for the post-parade festival on the historic settlement grounds.

All in all, a great day to be out for the afternoon and form community within Muskego!

Many thanks from and for Krisann Durnford - the Muskego Chamber's Comitee Chair for Country Christmas.

It will be interesting to see what the years bring, as the event just seems to grow. If anyone attended, please add your suggestions!

The event surely has grown! With the great business involvement it will continue. We had some amazing volunteers that have worked on this event since August. Krisann Durnford has been the chair that has made this event what it is today. Our appreciation to the businesses and organizations that see the need to create events within our own community. Creating prosperity in our lake community, making it a destination for work home and play. Please visit our facebook page for a video that one of our businesses put on to highlight the Mascot race. This truly captured the spirit of our community. Thank you to the many that participated and those that sponsored to make it the success that it was. https://www.facebook.com/MuskegosCountryChristmas?ref=hl
