Muralist and artist Kathleen Herold will unveil her latest work during a Trunk Show exclusive to Port Washington on Saturday, Oct. 13th, at Zing Boutique, 302 N. Franklin St., Port Washington.

Chicago-area resident Kathleen paints for businesses, non-profits, and homeowners. Bringing an impressive array of subject matter, she will present her gallery of "Made For Wisconsin" pieces from 10 to 3 p.m. on the 13th. Kathleen feels a strong connection to waterfront communities after spending a total of ten years living in Hawaii and the San Francisco Bay area. She finds inspiration for her paintings in nature and is fascinated by both the serene beauty and the incredible power of the water as it washes into the shoreline.

Ms. Herold is excited about having her Wisconsin debut in Port Washington since she fell in love with the area the first time she drove down the hill toward the water. She has compelling ties to the community since she has family here and feels that Port Washington is her second home.

“The architecture is amazing, the lakefront is immaculate and the shopkeepers are extremely friendly. There is a very strong sense of community here and there are always special events scheduled that bring people to the area. There could not be a better place to showcase my art,” states Herold.

This event is free and appropriate for all ages. More information on Kathleen Herold can be found on her website, Kheroldstudio.com. ZING Boutique has a limited number of pieces on display in anticipation of the event. ZING Boutique is located at 302 N Franklin St in downtown Port Washington.
