'Confused' Saukville Woman Faces Felony Drug Charges

Police find crack and marijuana in a Saukville woman's SUV at Piggly Wiggly after store officials became concerned for her well-being.

A Saukville woman is facing felony charges because of cocaine and marijuana police found inside her SUV after she was acting strange inside .

Kathryn E. Henning, 49, was charged in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on March 19 with one count of second offense possession of cocaine, one count of second offense possession of THC and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, she could face up to seven years in prison and $20,500 in fines.

On March 16, police were called to Piggly Wiggly after Henning was acting confused and staff were concerned about her well-being. Henning continued to be confused while talking with police, but told them she was wearing two Fentanyl patches.

According to WebMD, "the action of fentanyl is similar to other drugs in the morphine category (opioids)."

She was then transported to the hospital, however, her SUV was still in the parking lot and a dog was inside. Police called Henning’s son to get the dog, but they also discovered the cocaine and marijuana.

Henning denied knowing she had crack in the SUV and said she was holding the marijuana for a friend.

She was assigned $250 bond at her initial appearance in court. She is expected to appear again in court at 10 a.m. April 5.
