Couple Charged in Sexual Assault of 12-Year-Old Girl
The girl's mother and stepfather face charges in connection with the sexual assault of the 12-year-old at their home.
A 44-year-old man and 36-year-old woman of Fredonia face charges after the mother allowed her husband to have sex with her 12-year-old daughter.
The man was charged Wednesday in Ozaukee County Circuit Court with three felonies: one count of first-degree sexual assault; one count of child enticement-sexual contact; and one count of incest with a child by stepparent.
The mother faces two felony charges: one count of failure to act on a sexual contact with a child and one count of first-degree sexual assault/contact with a person under age 13.
Patch is not naming the man and woman to protect the victim.
The woman told authorities that her husband had been asking to have sex with her two daughters for several years, according to an article on the Ozaukee Press. On April 1, he asked multiple times to have sex with her 12-year-old daughter.
The woman then brought her daughter into their bedroom where her husband waited under the covers, the Press article said. The woman remained on the bed while the husband assaulted the girl, and then took her to the bathroom for a shower.
The girl told her older sister, who told their biological father, who reported the crime, the article said. No court dates have been scheduled for the woman; the man is set to appear in court again at 1:15 p.m. August 5.
