Two more residents report items stolen from their unlocked cars parked in Port Washington.

Thiefs are still on the loose in Port Washington as two residents reported items stolen from their unlocked vehicles since Tuesday.

Port Washington police responded to a report at 7:19 a.m. Thursday from a 35-year-old Port woman who said her Garmin GPS, valued at $200, had been stolen from her vehicle parked in the 1400 block of West Second Avenue. The person had also taken about $5 in change from the car.

A 31-year-old Port man contacted police at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday to report items stolen from his unlocked care in the 900 block of West Melin Street. The person stole a pair of "cheap" sunglasses and also a pair of binoculars.

These thefts follow a parked in driveways in May, as well as .

People who can provide information about the thefts to police will remain anonymous by calling 262-268-7682. Messages left on the hotline are checked regularly throughout the day, and callers providing tips leading to arrests will be eligible for a $50 reward.
