Have You Seen These Kids' Bikes?

The Port Washington Police Department has taken two reports of stolen kids' bikes since July 4.

Port Washington police responded to a report from a 30-year-old Port Washington resident that her daughter's bicycle had been stolen at 9:25 p.m. July 4.

The woman suspected an unidentified older male with longer hair. The girl's bicycle is white with a black seat.

At 5:33 p.m. Thursday, a 10-year-old Port Washington boy came walking into the Port Washington Police Department to report his bike had been stolen from Thomas Jefferson Middle School, 1403 N. Holden St.

His bike is a blue XG3 dirt bike with foot pegs on the back wheel and a hand brake on the right handle bar.

People with information will remain anonymous by calling 262-268-7682. Messages left on the hotline are checked regularly throughout the day, and callers providing tips leading to arrests will be eligible for a $50 reward.
